Lettering consists in customizing the shape of a word, designed on the basis of an existing typeface, or created from scratch.

It can be a logo, a header, or any typographic visual.
The lettering comes in the middle or at the end of the creative process, to give the word the most unique and meaningful as possible silhouette.

The form of writing is naturally a vehicle of communication values, and the right form does not always fully lie among the available typefaces.
